A Family Run Park for Over 50 Years
Hidden Valley Caravan Park is a proudly family-run business with roots that run deep in the Mid Wales countryside. The Jones family have farmed the Maesmawr area for five generations, and in the early 1970s, Philip Jones took the pioneering step of diversifying the family farm to create Hidden Valley, recognising that the secluded valley nestled within 200 acres of woods and pastures would make an exceptional location for a holiday home park.
Our History
When diversification was still a new concept, Philip welcomed the first caravans to Hidden Valley in 1973. What started as a modest development of 50 caravans has grown, through decades of dedication and continuous improvement, into a distinguished holiday home park featuring nearly 200 of the latest caravans and luxury lodges.
Along the way, Hidden Valley has earned a string of prestigious industry awards, with the most coveted being 'The Best of the Best Parks in Britain'. It's an accolade that reflects the commitment of everyone who has been part of the Hidden Valley story.
Still Growing, Still Family
Today, Hidden Valley is run by Philip's son David and his family, continuing the same family ethos and attention to detail that has always defined the park. Philip himself remains heavily involved in the day-to-day running, bringing continuity and a genuine personal touch that our holiday home owners truly value.
The desire for continual improvement has never wavered, and it's why many of our original caravan owners from the early years are still with us today. Just as it was in those first seasons, a warm and genuine welcome awaits every new buyer at Hidden Valley.
